陈医生是在暄晖执业的乳腺外科资深顾问医生。她是该领域的关键领袖，并积极参与该地区乳腺外科医生的培训。
教育经历与手术培训
她于1995年在新加坡国立大学 (NUS) 获得医学学位，实习结束后继续接受外科培训，并于1999年获得爱丁堡皇家外科医学院和英国皇家外科医学院的研究生文凭。
陈医生在陈笃生医院接受了高阶外科培训，并于2003年获得了爱丁堡皇家外科医学院普外科的进一步认证。
获得HMDP奖学金
为了追求对乳腺外科的兴趣，陈医生获得了卫生部颁发的HMDP奖学金，并于2004年在加州大学旧金山分校进行了为期12个月的乳腺和内分泌外科培训。
在陈笃生医院和竹脚妇幼医院创立前哨淋巴结项目
2005年从美国回国后，陈医生利用放射性核素和蓝色染料双技术，协助陈笃生医院建立了早期乳腺癌前哨淋巴结项目。今天，选择性前哨淋巴结清扫术是早期乳腺癌女性的标准治疗方法。2005年陈医生加入竹脚妇幼医院 (KKH) 新成立的乳腺科，负责管理和治疗从发育和哺乳问题到良性肿瘤和乳腺癌等各种乳腺疾病。
乳腺外科领域的刊发
陈医生还在多个本地、区域和国际期刊上广泛发表了有关乳腺外科领域的文章。她之前获得了100万新元的卫生部经费，用于研究2007年至2010年间乳腺导管镜检查对患有病理性乳头溢液和乳腺癌的女性的有效性。
对乳房微创手术技术的兴趣
陈医生的其他兴趣包括乳腺手术中的微创技术、超声引导真空辅助针活检 (mammotomy) 。
认可她对患者治疗的付出
为了表彰她在患者治疗方面的付出，她分别于2007-2009年相继获得SPRING新加坡卓越服务奖 (EXSA) 银奖、金奖和星级奖，并于2008年获得了竹脚妇幼医院 (KKH) 首席执行官爱心奖项。
国际外科医师学会和国际乳腺外科学会会员
在开设私人诊所之前，陈医生是竹脚妇幼医院乳腺外科的资深顾问。她目前是国际外科医师协会和国际乳腺外科学会的会员。
