Sebagai konsultan senior kami, Dr. Chan Ching Wan memiliki perhatian khusus di dalam pembentukan sel kanker dan bagaimana cara kanker dapat dihambat dan diobati. Dr. Chan juga merupakan Asisten Profesor di Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, sejak tahun 2009. Sebelum bergabung dengan Solis, beliau adalah Kepala Klaster Subspesialisasi untuk Layanan Payudara di Singapore’s National University Health System. Dr Chan juga pernah menjabat sebagai Kepala Program Onkologi Tumor Payudara di National Cancer Institute Singapura.
Dr. Chan memperoleh gelar dokternya dari University of Edinburgh Medical School. Selanjutnya, Dr. Chan menyelesaikan pelatihan spesialis tingkat dasar dan tingkat lanjut dalam bedah umum di Singapore General Hospital dan lulus dari program tersebut pada tahun 2007. Beliau telah menjadi fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh dan fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow sejak tahun 1999. Di saat pendidikan bedahnya, Dr. Chan menerima Beasiswa NMRC Totalisator Board di mana dia menyelesaikan gelar PhD di bidang Neuroendocrinology di Universitas Bristol pada tahun 2004.
Dr. Chan menerima penghargaan Health Manpower Development Program (HMDP) Award sebagai dokter Onkoplastik Payudara di Nottingham Breast Institute, UK pada tahun 2008. Beliau terlatih dalam prosedur mammoplasti terapeutik, flap latissimus dorsi untuk rekonstruksi payudara parsial dan total, rekonstruksi implan, operasi simetris kontralateral, dan pemindahan lemak untuk defisit volume dan remodelling kontur. Selain itu, Dr. Chan membantu mengembangkan studi transisi yang ditujukan untuk berbagai aspek diagnosis, deteksi dan pengobatan kanker.
Saat dia menempuh pendidikannya, dia juga menerima Penghargaan Skills Attachment Award digital mamografi dengan peningkatan kontras (team AMDA Award) pada tahun 2018
