邓医生是我们专长乳腺手术的资深顾问和乳腺外科医生。在加入暄晖之前,她在国立大学医院执业,精通良性和恶性乳腺疾病的治疗,并为她的患者提供综合和整体的治疗。

教育经历和资质

她获得了英国诺丁汉大学的医学科学学士学位 (荣誉) 和医学学位,并在英国特伦 特学院接受了初级外科培训。

随后邓医生移居新加坡,在国立大学医院完成了普外科高级专科培训,并获得了英国爱丁堡皇家外科学院 [FRCS (Edin)] 普外科院士。她曾游历韩国和日本学习先进的保乳和局部重建手术技术,通过保乳手术帮助患者过上充实的生活并保持女性气质。

荣誉

2012年,邓医生在亚洲肿瘤峰会上获得“一项基于人群关于男性癌症患者生育能力的研究”的最佳口头报告。2019年和2020年她连续获得新加坡国立大学医院教学卓越奖、新加坡国立大学医学堡垒奖以及新加坡国立大学医院5年和10年长期服务奖。邓医生还深度参与学生和初级医生的教学和培训,并且是新加坡国立大学的兼职助教教授。她曾是新加坡国立大学的本科医学副主任,负责协调医学生的教学和实习,并担任新加坡国立大学研究生一年级 (PGY1) 项目的副主任,为新加坡国立大学医学新生提供监督、培训和生活指导新加坡国立大学的新初级医生。

研究兴趣

凭借对乳腺外科、治疗乳腺癌和提高乳腺癌幸存者生活质量的临床和研究兴趣,邓医生在同行评审的国际期刊上发表了多篇临床和研究文章。2015年,她成功获得NCIS中心的种子基金计划的研究资助,用于评估新加坡女性乳腺癌患者的生活质量和身体影像。这使她能够更好地理解和帮助患者康复,同时最大限度地提高她们的生活质量。邓医生还对老年乳腺癌患者,以及如何在考虑其他慢性疾病的同时最好地优化她们的乳腺癌治疗感兴趣。
